Peter McCoy

A filmmaker, photographer, mushroom farmer, and mycology educator, Peter McCoy has shared his combined passions for fungi, art, and culture creation for nearly two decades and across the world’s hemispheres. An original founder of Radical Mycology, The Radical Mycology Convergence, and the world’s first mycology school, MYCOLOGOS, Peter’s primary work with fungi comes through education, experimentation, and media creation. As a life-long cinephile with a background in media studies, audio engineering, and documentary and experimental film production, Peter brings his love for all things audio-visual to the FFF program selection and award committee. His first short documentary film was On The Liberation of Spores.
